Windhill Community Centre is run by North East Windhill Community Association (NEWCA), a voluntary organisation, through its Management Board. The Board is made up of local residents and representatives of local community groups and agencies. The Association is also a registered charity and a company. Windhill Community Centre is a main focus of many activities around the area. We aim to provide something for all members of the community, responding to community needs, starting from a Parents and Toddler Group, crèches for under-fives, and a computer room for courses and drop-in sessions. |

For adults there are Community Education Courses covering many different subjects run by local college and other agencies. To help those with problems, or in need of benefits information, there is an Advice Centre with a professional Advice Worker. |

We have a furniture store which provides low cost second-hand furniture to local residents and a café which provides snacks and meals, both run by volunteers. There is also a Savers club to help people save their money. For older people there is the Yorkie club. |
